The Econiture Story

From plastic waste to durable outdoor furniture

Econiture is a brainchild of the founders of Recycle Bell Pvt. Ltd., established in 2017, built on years of experience in plastic waste recycling and exploring ways to convert discarded plastic into useful and durable materials.

What began as experiments with recycled plastic soon evolved into the development of recycled plastic lumber, leading to the idea of creating durable outdoor furniture made from recycled plastic that is long-lasting, low maintenance, and weather resistant.

Launched in 2020, Econiture was created to give plastic waste a second life — transforming it into thoughtfully designed recycled plastic outdoor furniture that serves everyday spaces while contributing to a more responsible and circular use of materials.

Our Initial Days

Surrounded by piles of recyclable waste, we worked, discussed, and built the foundation of what would later become Econiture.

In a small rented godown, we began experimenting to create a durable, sustainable and long-lasting material from post-consumer plastic waste.

First Recycled Lumber

The earliest recycled plastic lumbers were rough and imperfect, yet they proved plastic waste could become strong and useful material.

Dreams Take Shape

In this small and crowded and messy workshop, the first furniture ideas began to take shape. Lumber was cut, assembled, and we made functional outdoor furniture from plastic waste

First Furniture Prototype

We built one of our earliest chairs from recycled plastic lumber, through multiple iterations, testing designs, strength, and comfort.
From early recycling operations to material innovation, these experiments, eventually led to the birth of Econiture.
